I　looked　at　Jane；　too；　and　she　no　longer　smiled。　She　glared　at　me；　her　jaw　clenched　with　the　intensity　of

Edward　was　by　my　side　again。　He　touched　Alice"s　arm；　and　she　surrendered　me　to　him。
